Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal in e-commerce is the right recognized to the consumer to withdraw from the contract stipulated at a distance, within 14 calendar days, without having to provide any justification. In the case of physical products, the 14 days start from the date of delivery.

These are solar days, so calendar days, not working days.

Consumers are protected by Articles 52 and following of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005) which provide for the possibility of returning goods or withdrawing from a contract within 14 days of the online purchase.

The return made within this period does not need to be justified in any way and implies the refund by Mat Beauty Shop of the sum paid by the customer.

The amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

The right of withdrawal only concerns the 'consumer' as a 'natural person'. This means that purchases made by professionals, with purposes related to entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal or professional activity, are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

According to Article 57 of the CDC the consumer must:

-Exercise the right of withdrawal within the deadline;

-Return the product within the next 14 calendar days;

-Pay the cost of returning the product.

The right of withdrawal on online purchases is not provided for:

-services already performed (in the case of digital services);

-custom-made or personalized products;

-perishable or short-expiry goods (those that can expire within 14 days);

- sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons or that have been opened after delivery.

The consumer, where applicable, is required to send a communication via registered mail, certified email or email to matbeautyshop@gmail.com.
